OUR MISSION

Bonfolk Giving Good (BGG) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in New Orleans, LA. Founded in July 2023, BGG was created in response to the growing demand for donated socks among nonprofits. Socks are the most requested, yet least donated, essential basic need item. Established by Janna Hart Black, founder of Bonfolk, a sock brand known for its one-for-one model, where every pair sold is a pair donated. As the volume quickly exceeded Bonfolk’s capacity, BGG was created to scale the mission and meet this critical need nationwide.

BGG is dedicated to providing clean, new socks to individuals in need by delivering warmth, comfort, and dignity with every pair. By partnering with nonprofits nationwide, we ensure that this critical item reaches people of all ages and backgrounds facing hardship.

Our mission guides every step we take. By donating over 950,000 pairs of socks nationwide across the last 10 years, BGG remains committed to walking alongside its nonprofit partners to support those in need.

With requests rising, BGG has over 350 nonprofits now waiting for an average of 400 pairs, with some requesting up to 1,000 pairs.
