Madison Parker is a lifelong Gulf Coast resident who has called New Orleans home since 2011. Committed to water safety through accessible and affordable learn-to-swim programs , she began coaching and offering swim lessons through her local YMCA and community programs for over a decade. Today, Madison works as a Transportation Planner, focusing on resilient and equitable mobility solutions for communities across the country. She holds a degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of New Orleans and is an active member of the Krewe of Muses, one of New Orlean’s most beloved Mardi Gras Krewes. As an all-female super krewe of over 1,200 members, the Muses pride themselves in supporting philanthropic efforts that benefit women, children, and the arts across Greater New Orleans. In her spare time, Madison can be found near a body of water, or in her garden with her dog Luna close behind.
